Cookies
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. This page explains which ones Peak Point Groceries Store uses.
What we store
The first cookie is essential and always on. It remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask again. The second is optional.
| Name | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| ppgs_consent | Remembers whether you chose “Accept all” or “Essential only”. | 1 year |
| ppgs_history | Only if you chose “Accept all”. Remembers your recent searches, the product categories you looked at and the products you opened, so the home page can show “Picked for you”. It stays in your browser and holds no name, email or account details. | 6 months |
| _ga*, _gcl_*, others | Only if you chose “Accept all”. Google Tag Manager loads the measurement tools we use, such as Google Analytics, which set their own cookies to count visits. They hold a random ID, not your name or email. | Up to 2 years |
Visit statistics and ads
If you choose “Accept all”, we use Google Tag Manager (which loads our measurement tools) to see how many people visit, which pages and searches are popular, and how people find us. Those companies receive this information. If you choose “Essential only”, none of them is loaded, and their cookies are deleted if you change your choice.
Personalised products
If you choose “Accept all”, we save your recent searches and the products and categories you look at, up to a small number of each. The home page uses them to show products you may like. If you choose “Essential only”, nothing is saved and anything saved earlier is deleted.
Change your choice
You can change your mind at any time: . You can also delete cookies in your browser settings. Choosing “Essential only” deletes your saved history straight away.
